the summary that matters

1. What we collect, and why

Creators (the ones presenting): name, email, securely hashed password and, if you tell us, your usage profile (teacher, facilitator…). We use them to authenticate you, personalise the product and send transactional emails (welcome, support replies).

Participants (the ones answering): only a nickname, an emoji avatar and the answers given in the session. No real name, email, phone or cross-session tracking.

Sign in with Google: if you choose it, Google sends us your name, email and an identifier, never your Google password.

2. Where the data lives

On our own contracted server (HostGator hosting), with restricted access, HTTPS traffic and passwords always hashed. Transactional emails go out from no-reply@pipo.guru.

3. Who we share it with

Nobody, beyond the strictly operational: hosting provider (storage), Google (social login and, if you authorise it, audience measurement) and Meta (audience measurement, also only with your authorisation). We do not sell data and we pass nothing to "marketing partners".

4. Cookies and measurement

Essential (always on): they keep you signed in, remember your chosen language and protect forms against fraud. The site does not work without them, so they cannot be turned off.

Measurement (only with your "yes"): Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel, which count how many people reach the site, where they came from and where they give up. It is what tells us what to improve. They do not read the content of your Pipos, nor your audience's answers, nor session reports.

On your first visit a notice appears in the footer with three options: accept everything, stay essential-only, or open the details before deciding. Until you choose, no measurement tag is loaded, the notice is not decorative. Declining limits nothing in the product.

Your choice lasts 6 months and lives in a cookie called pipo_consent. To change your mind before that, clear the site's cookies in your browser and the notice shows up again.

Where measurement never goes: the screens of session participants (joining with a code, answering on the phone and the projected stage) load no Analytics or Pixel under any circumstances. Someone answering a Pipo is not a visitor of our website and will not be measured because of it.

5. Session reports

The session presenter sees and can export the collected answers (with nicknames). If you take part in a session, the presenter decides what to do with that material, as in any classroom activity.

6. Your rights (LGPD)

Access, correction and deletion: you edit your data in "My account" and can delete the account on the spot, no support needed. Deletion is immediate and anonymises your access data: name, email and password cease to exist in your account, and you can no longer sign in.

There is one exception, and it is short. For 12 months we keep the email that was on the account and the reason you wrote in the exit form, for a single purpose: understanding why people leave and, when it makes sense, writing to you once about it. That contact joins no mailing list, becomes no advertising and is shared with no one. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in improving the product (art. 7, IX of the LGPD). You can request immediate removal through the contact below, or by replying to the message, if it arrives. After the 12 months, the email is deleted automatically and only the reason remains, with no link to you.

For any other LGPD request, talk to us.
