1. What Pipo Guru is

Pipo Guru (pipo.guru) is a platform for interactive presentations and live quizzes: creators build sessions and audiences take part on their phones. The service is operated independently as an academic project, with no affiliation with Mentimeter AB or Kahoot! ASA.

2. Your account

To create Pipos you need an account (email and password, or Google). You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens in your account. Session participants need no account, they join with just a nickname.

3. Acceptable use

Simple ground rules:

• Do not use Pipo for illegal, discriminatory, defamatory or harassing content;
• Do not try to cheat the scoring, overload the service or access other users' data;
• You are responsible for the content of your presentations and for the answers you collect;
• Offensive nicknames may be blocked automatically and participants may be removed by the presenter.

4. Your content

What you create is yours. By using the service, you grant us a technical licence to store and display that content, only as much as the product needs to work (showing the question on your session's stage, for example). We do not use your content for other purposes.

5. Plans, payment and cancellation

Pipo Guru has a permanent free plan and paid plans (Essential, Pro and the Event Pass), with prices and limits published at pipo.guru/precos. Amounts are in Brazilian reais (BRL).

• Subscriptions (Essential and Pro) are billed on a recurring basis, monthly or yearly depending on the chosen cycle, and renew automatically until you cancel.
• Cancellation: at any time, in "My account → My plan", with no penalty and no need to talk to anyone. Access continues until the end of the period already paid and, after that, the account returns to the free plan. There is no pro-rated refund of the ongoing period.
• Right of withdrawal: under art. 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code, you may withdraw from the purchase within 7 calendar days of payment and receive a full refund. Just ask via suporte@pipo.guru.
• Event Pass: a one-time payment that unlocks the Pro plan features for 7 calendar days. It creates no subscription and no automatic renewal.
• Missed payment: if a charge does not clear, paid features are suspended. None of your content is deleted because of it: your Pipos and reports stay stored and come back as soon as payment is settled.
• Plan changes: when switching plans, content exceeding the new plan's limits is not deleted; it just cannot grow until you return to a compatible plan.
• Prices may change. Changes do not affect the cycle already paid and are announced in advance of the next renewal.

Payment processing is handled by a specialised partner (Asaas). We do not store credit card data on our servers.

6. Availability and changes

Pipo Guru is offered "as is", with no guarantee of continuous availability. We may evolve, change or discontinue features; when something relevant changes, we let you know. Active sessions expire automatically after 12 hours.

7. Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time in "My account". Deletion is immediate: your access data is anonymised and you are signed out. Aggregate statistics of past sessions are preserved anonymously.

We keep the account email and the exit reason for 12 months, only to understand why people leave the product and, eventually, talk to you once about it. The details are in the privacy policy.
